My Approach
Choosing the right therapist to work with can feel quite daunting. You might want to know more about what psychodynamic psychotherapy is, and what it's not, and whether it might be right for you.
What is psychodynamic psychotherapy?
Psycho-dynamic psychotherapy is a form of therapy which explores the unconscious and conscious factors of individuals. It’s an opportunity for you to consider and talk about what’s in your mind. This may be day-to-day concerns, or frightening, depressive or anxious thoughts and feelings. Issues that cause stress and difficulties and have an effect on how you live your life. Nothing is off the table. Sessions are usually held at the same time and day each week.
Inclusive for all
I am committed to supporting young people and families with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. I believe in creating a safe and inclusive space without fear of judgment or harm. I am firmly opposed to any form of conversion therapy.
